The XXIII edition of La Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo will be celebrated globally from 16 to 22 October 2023. This year the theme of “Italian and sustainability” is explored, with the aim of promoting the culture of sustainability developed by a country at the forefront of environmentalism. To celebrate the Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo, Co.As.It. Brisbane/Melbourne/Sydney, IAWCC and Il Globo TV announced an Italian short film competition for secondary students. Students in Years 7 to 12 were invited to submit entries for the first national short film competition for students of Italian. Here are the winning entries
